Currently, the EEff-MV does not include measures for motor replacement or VFD installation.
The following key question arises:
What would be the impact of integrating motor replacement and/or VFD installation into the EEff-MV?
The consulted stakeholders provided the following answers:
The Austrian EEff-VO stipulates, that if there is a generalised method, it must be applied. If there are reasons
against it and can be justified accordingly, a different assessment can be made.
Notification of savings by KPC (managing the national subsidy programme for energy efficiency measures) to
E-Control for national reporting within the EED.
Agreement with E-Control as follows:
1. where allocation methods (generalized methods) are available, the necessary key figures for calculating
the energy savings are to be submitted,
2. where no allocation methods are available, the KPC submits its own savings calculations in kWh to the E-Control
as the “Monitoringstelle”.
