This recommendation concerns the inclusion of the measure description for motor replacement and/or VSD installation in the Austrian Energy Efficiency Measures Ordinance, along with the clarification of saving calculation and life-time assumptions.

This measure would be primarily relevant for industrial end users when energy-saving targets, such as an obligation scheme for energy utilities (as previously implemented in Austria), are established under the energy efficiency law. In the absence of such targets, this measure would not typically apply to industrial end users.
